2.0 Adv Beginner 18+

Description

This class is for players that have had some tennis instruction and have staff permission from the 1.5 Beginner level. They are continuing to work on their rallying skills and have limited playing experience. These players can rally an average of 4-6 balls with a partner, but need guidance with directional control, stroke technique, the correct grips, and footwork. They can also make volley contact but may feel uncomfortable at the net. Additionally, these players are almost ready for competitive play but need some help on scoring and playing a match.There is no class on Thursday September 24th due to a staff in-service day.AYTC requires students rated 2.0 and above to have a rating on their ActiveNET account. A valid USTA/UTR/AYTC In House rating must be attached to your customer profile prior to registration. If you need a rating entered into the system, please contact AYTC at 206-684-4764.In the case that a player signs up at the wrong level, AYTC staff will try to find an appropriate leveled class, but this is not guaranteed due to available space. Students may only register for classes at their skill level, and not multiple classes at varying skill levels.
