Chinese Line Dancing

Description

Being similar to the Western line dance, instructions (including proper demonstrations at the beginning of the class) will be given to the Chinese line dancers with dancing patterns (terminology) and step counts, and following with practices led by the instructor, except that much more emphasis will be placing on hands and arms, feet and whole body coordination, making whole body movement accents in relation to the Chinese music, expressing the character of various Chinese ethnic groups and being incorporated with modern dance. Currently it is also known as Fitness (Dancing) Exercise being very popular in China. Our class at GGPSC is of beginners/intermediate level.
