Youth in Motion: Junior Company

Description

For committed dancers who want to focus on modern dance composition and performance in a non-competitive environment. You are introduced to ideas, purpose and appreciation of dance as an expressive art form. Performance opportunities throughout the year and a year-end concert in June. Dancers must audition and have previous ballet and modern experience. Please note this class takes place on Thursdays; other dates listed are rehearsal and performance days and are subject to change. The cost of this course include a $105.00 performance and costume fee. Please note: that the Senior Company is for dancers who are high school age. Instructors: Carla Alcantara & Heather Kirkland Payment plan option (via credit card payments) available: 50% of payment due at time of registration, 25% due on Dec 15, and 25% due on Mar 15, 2026. “To give long-term arts students ample time to determine if a long-term program is right for them, students can attend 4 classes before a year long commitment is required. If you withdraw during this period, you will be charged only for each class you attend without being charged the City of Burnaby refund fee of 10%. Withdrawals/refunds are NOT permitted after the start of the 5th class of a long-term program.”
