Ceramics: Open Workshop

Description

Open Workshop spaces are available to individuals with some pottery and ceramics experience to work on and practice ceramic art. Clay for use in our studios must be purchased at the Shadbolt Centre Front Office (includes glaze and firing costs). Purchase clay at least 24 hours in advance over the phone: 604-297-4440. If you have never attended an Open Workshop, please see the technician on duty for a quick orientation when you arrive. Registering for this space allows limited access to the Kiln Shed depending on room capacity. Please ask the technician prior to glazing. If you cannot attend the Open Workshop, you are required to withdraw 24 hours in advance of the start time to receive a refund. Registration for each week of Open Workshop sessions opens on Monday at 10 am for the following week beginning Monday (or Tuesday if registration day is a statutory holiday). Patrons are limited to registering for a maximum of two Open Workshops per week (Monday-Sunday) and will be withdrawn from Open Workshops that exceed the maximum limit.
