ADAPTED | SENSORY KIT BUILDING – Try It Event

Try it once, try it again - each session offers something new to explore!Get creative and build your own sensory kit to take home! This hands-on "try it" event invites participants of all abilities to explore textures, tools, and sensory-friendly materials while learning how to create calming and engaging kits that support relaxation and focus. Participants will have the chance to personalize their kits with items like fidget tools, squishes, and tactile materials - perfect for home or on the go. All supplies are provided, and participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable container or bag to transport their creations home. Unless otherwise shared directly with Inclusion Services, recipes and materials are not selected with any dietary or allergy restrictions in mind. An adapted environment is provided, featuring smaller group sizes, increased supervision, flexible pacing, and activities tailored to individual needs and goals. Participants must be able to participate successfully in a 1:5 staff-to-participant ratio.
