Description
Experience a program at The Falconer facility where we will meet 7-10 raptor ambassadors up close! The program works a little like a "show and tell" as we will meet each bird, and is very question-based and engaging. Many topics covered, even how to become a licensed falconer. Educational handouts are available to take home, as well as a couple of tables of bird/falconry items to check out while we learn about the birds. The program lasts about 90 minutes, and we will meet falcons, hawks, vultures, owls, and there is even a new eagle ambassador. Everyone is welcome to put on the glove to hold some of the falconry ambassadors for pictures. Light beverages and snacks provided, but please bring your own sack lunch and water for the adventure.
