Displaying Enameled Landscapes

Description

Combine the artistry of enameled copper landscape designs with the natural beauty of wood. Students who have completed an enameled copper panel (3 x 3 or 3 x 4 inch) will create a custom wooden mount and display easel. Participants will select from prepared light and medium woods, cut the material to size, refine the surface, and apply a finish to enhance the wood grain. Using matching materials, students will also construct a small display easel for their mounted panel. Students may also prepare their mount for wall hanging. Samples of available wood will be provided during the enamel class. This course is open to all skill levels.
