Description

This class is for players that can sustain a minimum rally of 12-16 balls at medium to face pace, and can effectively execute directional control, power, and placement. Advanced tactical and technical understanding. This player can control serve placement if needed and can force errors with this placement. A 4.5 player differs from a 4.0 player by possessing superior consistency, shot selection, strategy, and dependable groundstrokes, volleys, and serves. While a 4.0 player has dependable strokes and some court coverage, a 4.5 player advanced more displays more advanced skills, can consistently place and vary pace and spin, and demonstrates better overall court coverage and tactical awareness.AYTC requires students rated 2.0 and above to have a rating on their ActiveNET account. A valid USTA/UTR/AYTC In House rating must be attached to your customer profile prior to registration. If you need a rating entered into the system, please contact AYTC at 206-684-4764.In the case that a player signs up at the wrong level, AYTC staff will try to find an appropriate leveled class, but this is not guaranteed due to available space. Students may only register for classes at their skill level, and not multiple classes at varying skill levels.
