Para hockey for Beginners. Everyone is welcome to participate - all players will be required to be in a sledThis session is open to people aged 8+ years who are new to sledge or just want to improve their basic skills. Learn how to maneuver the sled, cut edges, make tape-to-tape passes, take wicked shots and engage in team plays. Test out your skills in a fun scrimmage at the end of each session. A part of the ice may be dedicated to just skating.Equipment: A CSA approved hockey helmet with a full cage, hockey gloves and elbow pads are required. Chest protector and shin guards are strongly recommended. Equipment provided on a first-come, first-served basis.All Hockey Programs are co-ed and participants must sign a waiver at the beginning of each session.All registered participants must check in with the attendant up to 5 minutes after the program start time. Failure to do so may result in the spot being forfeited to a waiting player.*Monthly Flexipass and 10-Visit passes are accepted for this program.
