Haunted History Walking Tour

Join Burnaby Village Museum this October to learn all about seemingly haunted happenings in Deer Lake Park. From the stories of the former Oakalla Prison, to strange activities at Ceperley House, and unexplained events at our very own Burnaby Village Museum site, there is no shortage of spooky stories in the area. This two-hour walking tour begins at the Burnaby Village Museum's main entrance, takes participants through the museum to the neighbouring Shadbolt Centre and Burnaby Art Gallery, where they will hear stories of suspicious circumstances and mysterious histories present at the various sites. Please note that entrance to the Burnaby Art Gallery and Shadbolt Centre are not included in this tour. Walking tours will take place rain or shine, please dress accordingly.Age 16+.
